Ray White along with over 50 local businesses have band together to build a house here on the Sunshine Coast to raise money for Children in need.
The House the Coast Built is the Coast’s largest fundraising event; Building a positive future for the Coast’s youngest patients…
A charity project run by Wishlist Sunshine Coast Health Foundation which aims to raise money for Sunshine Coast kids, an initiative that has see over 50 local businesses band together to build and auction off a brand new home.
The funds raised will be channelled into two very important causes. The first is Nambour Hospital’s Diversional Therapy Program which gives kids on the paediatric ward access to therapists using yoga and music, as well as interaction with animals and structured play sessions to help reduce stress, anxiety and insomnia.
The second cause will see funding go to the very successful SCKoping getaway camps, which provide a respite for kids aged between nine and 18 who have a family member battling mental illness or drug/alcohol addiction.
Construction was completed over a 16 week period in 2015 and Ray White Maroochydore Director & Auctioneer – Dan Sowden will be auctioning the property: 16 Flame Tree Avenue, Sippy Downs on Valentines day 14th February 2016.
Wishlist is holding a street party on the 17th January 2016 from 10am-2pm, giving everyone in the community a chance to walk through The House the Coast Built. For more information please visit www.wishlist.org.au.
